I recently came across with these medium-format photos that I took with Hasselblad 500 C/M with Ilfrod HP5 in summer 2019 in Saint-Tropez, France.
Reencountering with these photos immediately put me back to the sensational moments of liberty, sunlight and those endlessly humid nights that I had spent on the French Riviera. As if I could still feel the scent of the flowers flourishing in the city of Grasse, feeling some subtle skin pain from going out on scorching days, craving for a glass of rose over ice.

Although it could possibly be a silly question to ask myself – what would I do if I could revisit that summer?

It does make me wish if I could just take one of outdoor seatings at those typical French cafés on the street and spend hours observing the people.

I believe that observing people could be one of the most entertaining activities when you are in France.
